Hi! My name is Barbara Hollaus, I‘m the artist behind Barlena – Art & Design. I‘m originally from a small town in Austria and I currently live in Munich, Germany.
I have been drawing since I can remember and I simply couldn‘t imagine my life without it. Since 2020 I mainly create my illustrations digitally on my iPad Pro in the app Procreate. My work is often described as peaceful, comforting and minimalistic. It is defined by soft, airy colors and fine lines. I do love seeing my art come to life on different products like home decor and stationery items.
Besides creating new art, I love to cook and bake, spend time with loved ones and go for long walks in the forest. Nature is a wonderful place to recharge and get inspired.
